Stamp tax..what is it? Stamp tax used to be a percentage of the duty that was calculated and added to entries for customs duty.
This 7% tax was eliminated in 2009 and replaced by a flat fee of $10.00. This fee is added to all entries for customs
and it applies to duty free items as well.
